The Jet's Pizza Story

Jet's Pizza was born in 2009 when founder Marco DeJesus decided that New York City deserved a pizza that was truly out of this world. Starting with a single wood-fired oven and a handful of cherished family recipes, he set out to redefine what a great slice could be.

Today, from our flagship location at 728 Amsterdam Avenue, we serve thousands of New Yorkers every week — hand-crafting every pizza with the same love and precision as that very first day. Our dough is made fresh daily, our sauces are slow-simmered from whole tomatoes, and every ingredient is sourced with care.

2009

The First Slice

Marco DeJesus opens Jet's Pizza in a cozy 600 sq ft space on Amsterdam Avenue with a single wood-fired oven and five menu items. Lines form around the block within the first week.

2011

Best Pizza in NYC Award

New York Magazine names Jet's Pizza among the top 10 pizzerias in the city. The recognition puts us on the map and triples our weekend foot traffic overnight.

2013

Kitchen Expansion

We renovate and expand into the neighboring space, doubling our kitchen capacity, adding a second oven, and introducing our beloved signature Jet's Special recipe — still our best-seller today.

2016

Online Ordering Launched

Jet's Pizza goes digital with our online ordering platform, making it easier than ever to get a perfect pizza delivered straight to your door across the Upper West Side.

2019

10th Anniversary

We celebrate a decade of serving New York with a week-long celebration, a limited-edition anniversary menu, and a community fundraiser that raised over $20,000 for local schools.
